Final Performance Lists and Summer Workouts Posted

You can find the complete performance lists for both boys and girls outdoor season now posted in the "Team Files" section.  Also, there are summer workouts posted for sprinters and hurdlers.

Distance Workouts for Spring Break

Monday: Up Down Ladder, 200-400-800-1000-800-400-200 (1000 @ 5k pace, then speed up for the shorter distances)
Tuesday: 4-5 mile recovery
Wednesday: 2 sets, 200-400-600-200 (mile pace)
Thursday: 4-5 mile recovery
Friday: 6 hills @ 90 seconds
Saturday: 60-80 minute, long slow run...
Sunday: Off or Cross Train

Spring Break Workouts

Reminder that there is practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the normal time for those who are around this week.  There will also be practice on Monday March 28th at the normal time.

Sprinters and Jumpers:  Below are some suggested workouts for those of you not here for practice this week.  There are also some plyometric jumping drills posted on the "files" page to do.

Monday:  Ladder 100, 200, 300, 400, 300, 200, 100  Jog what you run for recovery.
Tuesday: 2 mile run & Plyometrics
Wednesday 8x200m
​Thursday:  3 mile run & Plyometrics
Friday:  5x300m
​Saturday: 2 mile run & Plyometrics
Sunday: OFF

Spring Qualifying Stadards Posted

You will find this season's automatic qualifying marks for Districts, Regionals, and the State meet in our team files.  Reminder, if you achieve the District qualifying mark you will earn your varsity letter if you fulfill team expectations (attend meets, sportsmanship, etc.).

Team Forms Posted

Spring Track team forms have been posted under "Team Files".  All athletes need to turn in the checklist, team rules, volunteer form, and team fund form.  Returning athletes from Winter indoor track do not need to turn in the spirit pack form, extra curricular form, or off campus running form.  ALL FORMS ARE NOW DUE!!!

Spring Track Tryouts

Monday through Wednedsay February 22nd to 24th & Friday February 26th
​**NOTE: No try-outs on Thursday Feb. 25th**

​Monday February 29th: Last call tryouts for those cut from other teams.  Please contact Coach Diller ahead of time to schedule a tryout on this day.

​Warm-up begins each day at 3:40pm on the Langley Track.  All athletes must wear full sweats for warm up.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PHYSICAL, CONCUSSION TRAINING, and an EMERGENCY CARE CARD TO PARTICIPATE!

***Please see the Team Files section for qualifying times and additional details.***

Note: We do have cuts for sophomore, junior, and senior athletes.  For spring track, all Freshmen who try out will make the team and have a chance to participate.

Spring Track Interest Meeting

There will be a spring track interest meeting on Wednesday February 17th at 3:15pm in the cafeteria.  Come to meet the coaches, learn more about the sport, understand the try-out process, and more.  Tryouts begin February 22nd.
