CoEd Athletic Training - Langley High School
FCPS Athletic Training Program Pre-Participation Screening (PHYSICALS/PPE)
Each FCPS Athletic Training Program will host an evening of VHSL PPEs. Licensed athletic trainers, physical therapists, EMTs, nurses, and parents will volunteer their time and expertise to provide thorough screenings for FCPS student athletes. PPEs are provided at 25 separate locations during May and June of each year. Taking advantage of this opportunity supports the school's athletic training program, and the physical will be valid for all summer conditioning and "Green Day" practices throughout the school year. If there is a conflict with the date PPEs are scheduled at your child's school, you can register for a PPE at any location and all paperwork will be transferred to your child's school ensuring they are eligible to participate for the following school year. The cost of the Sports Physical is $50 (pre-registration). All proceeds will go directly to the school's athletic training program. You can also have your child's pediatrician or family physician complete the VHSL Sports Physical, but remember, there is a April 2016 VHSL PPE that MUST be used. We hope that you will take advantage of these PPEs spring of 2016 for the 2016-2017 school year. The schedule for the events can be found below. www.fcps.edu/sports.
